Housekeeping Club is a well-established local commercial cleaning company dedicated to providing exceptional cleaning services in Kendal, Cumbria, and surrounding areas.

And want a challenging role where you oversee the delivery of our commercial cleaning services to a range of clients across the Lake District and North Lancashire?


We are looking for an outstanding Operations Manager to join our growing team who has the passion and people skills to work closely with our Director to manage and grow our teams.


Your responsibilities:

  • To work alongside the Managing Director to manage the schedule and client requirements
  • Recruitment and onboarding new staff members.
  • Achieving sales, margin and targets, ensuring a first-class service to all our customers.
  • Maximise the efficiencies of the teams at every opportunity to achieve our K.P.I’s
  • Inventory control and stock takes
  • Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Site audits in line with our Quality Monitoring processes.
  • Updating policies and procedures so that all health and safety and legislative requirements are up to date and delivering high standards of health and safety
  • Collaborating with team members and management to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Managing Director.

  • Experience, qualifications and skills:

    • Ability to manage and motivate a team of 50 members of staff to achieve objectives.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels.
    • Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
    • Ability to lead from the front and create a strong family like team environment.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Sales focused with a can-do attitude.
    • Ability to multitask and distinguish between “urgent and important” tasks.
    • Experience managing contracts
    • Experience managing suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions of contracts
    • You must be self-driven and enjoy working as a team to achieve results with good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong work ethic, commitment, reliability and flexibility.
    • Full UK clean drivers license.
