We are looking for someone to join our Community Maintenance Team, within the Caretaking section. This role are a great opportunity to provide a high quality, customer focused caretaking service to our communal areas and properties across the local area. It is tfore essential that you hold a full driving licence.
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for cleaning the communal areas on our estates in the Thames Valley region to a high level. This will include cleaning hallways, stairwells and bin store areas. You will also be responsible for reporting defects on our properties.
You will be have previous experience of cleaning and maintenance tasks and have a good understanding of operating caretaking maintenance equipment, as well as be able to clean large areas above shoulder level.
You should have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and procedures and be able to put these into practice during the working day.
The successful applicant will require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate which is considered satisfactory to Housing Solutions, which we will pay for.
