Bakery Assistant 12 to 16 hours a week.

Do you like watching Bake Off and want to learn how to bake like the professionals?
Huffkins craft bakery has two vacancies for part time bakery assistant to help with our handcrafted products.
Successful candidates will work 3 shifts a week 4 pm till 8 pm Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday and 10 am till 4 pm on alternate Saturdays.
No commercial bakery experience required , but you should be able to follow a recipe and enjoy learning new skills and have a good understanding of hygiene.
You must be physically fit and capable of lifting 12 kg flour bags.
Full training will be given and over time your commercial skill sets will grow.
You should enjoy being part of a team, have a fabulous attitude and take pride in your work.
Duties include
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment including ovens and mixers.
- Decorate and package finished bakery products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
Requirements.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Note: This position may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting.

An initial 6 month contract may be extended.
