The Isle of Wight Pearl café team are looking for a café assistant to join their busy café.
You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our visitors. Working closely with the other team members, you will ensure that our customers have a memorable experience.
About you
Experience working in a fast paced, busy environment;
Front of house experience;
Enthusiastic approach to work;
Food Hygiene certificate or willing to work towards this:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative;
About the role
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests or dietary requirements are communicated to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages to visitors in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the cafe & kp area
Using the dishwasher
Working on the till, using the card machine
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
