The team
The Transformation Management Office team is responsible for ITV’s largest transformation initiatives, on behalf of the Management Board. We work with teams from all across ITV, driving the delivery of programmes and making sure we’re prioritising the people side too.
The role
We are currently looking for a Business Change Manager who will work with our Content Supply & Distribution function as we look to simplify and improve the way we work. You’ll be responsible for developing the Change Approach for the transformation programme and then owning the delivery of it. We are looking for someone who will use best practice principles to manage the delivery of Change, Communications and Training activity, winning hearts and minds across this important programme of work.
The Content Supply Chain Programme has been established to transform the way ITV manages its content through the supply chain so we are set up to adapt to changing consumer needs. It will drive automation and simplification, delivering a connected cloud-based, automated supply chain that is almost touchless. Given it will introduce new ways of working for many teams, Change management will be critical to the success of this programme. The programme covers both the UK and International distribution business.

- Owning the overall business change approach and plan for the programme, ensuring the deployment of Change considers all areas of ITV (including the programme team itself) and reflects a colleague-centric ethos
- Developing and delivering key business change activities such as: change impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, running a change network, end-user support, and transition activities
- Leading the delivery of the business change plan for the programme to budget and time; coordinating delivery timelines and managing interdependencies with the Programme Director; containing and resolving issues within the programme governance
- Designing and managing a process to measure the readiness and effectiveness of business change (including adoption); implementing activity to react to feedback and address any resistance
- Understanding and managing stakeholders’ requirements and expectations to ensure stakeholder buy-in
- Creating and maintaining a strong relationship with other teams both within and outside of the programme (e.g. Internal Communications, Technology) to ensure project engagement activities are aligned to ITV guidelines and plans
- Supporting the ongoing development of ITV change methodologies and materials to build change capability
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Demonstrable experience of owning Change activity for transformation programmes within complex organisations
- Maturity of skills and breadth of experience in change management principles, methodology and tools
- Experience of working closely and influencing senior stakeholders and programme sponsors (to Board level)
- Experience of leading Change activities where the reliance has not been solely on top-down mandate from the Leadership team
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to present to and engage teams at all levels
- Strong consultative, relationship management, networking and influencing skills
- A proactive, resilient, forward-thinking team player
- Preferable: experience as a management consultant
