Job Purpose

  • To provide a highly structured, accurate and professional administration support to the business for our outsourced people function

Skills Required

  • HR Experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
  • Good written, numerical and verbal skills

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • To provide advice and support to colleagues on all aspects of HR & Payroll
  • To document and report on employee relation cases proactively and effectively, in line with agreed principles
  • To document long term Sickness/Absence, Maternity/Paternity/Shared Parental Leave cases
  • To provide reports to the Senior Executive Team (SET) on Sickness/Absence/Disciplinary/Grievance/Retention/Attrition/Working Time Directive as requested
  • To manage all aspects of the recruitment process, providing full administrative support to the advertisement of vacancies, sifting of applications, screening & organising of interviews as appropriate
  • Provide a discrete and confidential ear to colleagues
  • Maintain a database of team members with legal consent to manage premises with alcohol licencing
  • Managing all employee data in accordance with GDPR regulations

HR Specifics

  • Have a minimum of 5 years generalist HR experience at Senior HR Admin level or above
  • Preferably have experience of working within a fast paced environment
  • Ensuring managers are working inline with best practice & current employment law legislation
  • Good commercial awareness and up to date knowledge of employment law
  • Full UK driving licence & willingness to travel to our retail stores
  • Performing a true HR admin role
  • Display confidence in working autonomously & be credible liaising with wider team members
  • A commitment to CPD - the company is willing to fund CIPD if the candidate requests this

This is a permanent full time office based role

39 hours per week

£30,000 per annum
