Butcher/Trainee Butcher

Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit experienced or trainee butchers.

we pride ourselves in being a family run business in Great Yarmouth for over 20 years.

This great opportunity will cover all aspects of the trade and includes full training

this is a permanent, full time position working 5am - 1pm or 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday with a paid 20 minute break. You may also be required to work the occasional Saturday in times of busy trade.

Our ideal Butcher:-

will have a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and the ability to work as a team.

will have excellent hand eye coordination, to ensure the cuts are being made correctly and to the highest standard and packing catering orders to their own bespoke requirements.

Will be focused and proactive to complete tasks in a timely manner

Will have an understanding of basic Maths and English

Will have a certain level of physical fitness as the job will include the lifting of carcass and boxed meats and working in a chilled environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour
