We are currently looking for full time Warehouse Operative / Logistics Coordinator for our manufacturing site based in Corby.

Position Summary

This is a good opportunity for a  Warehouse Operative to join our growing manufacturing site for plastics packagings in Corby.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the lively logistics environment and experienced with the extensive processes from picking/loading and commissioning of items, performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer.

The contract position is permanent with working 40 hours per week on a rotational 3 shift pattern from Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities also include (but are not limited to):

• Picking/loading and scanning of goods according to route planning
• Organise and sort goods delivered and dispatches
• Ensuring accurate picking, loading and scanning of goods for customer orders 
• Ensure accurate stock counts when required as well as processing returns and low code stock
• Taking deliveries of shipments

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities

• Experience of working in a logistics environment
• Knowledge of transport booking systems and freigth methods
• Perform a range of activities to facilitate the timely and accurate export and shipment of products, packages, and documents.
• Use of Fork Lift Truck to support a variety of warehouse activites and ensure accurate completion of special pick tasks
• Resolve queries quickly and efficiently within the proscribed timescale reporting back to line manager and customer service
• Communicate and liaise with Logistics supervisor to arrange the dispatching of products
• Load containers and be an important part of the goods out process
• Competent in excel and familiar with the use of ERP systems

Who you’ll be working with

Under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor you are working as a member of the Logistics team. 

Shift pattern: 8 hours 3-Shift-system from Monday-Friday
