Julia’s House, the Dorset and Wiltshire Children’s Hospice charity is seeking volunteers to help out at its friendly flag ship store in Creekmoor in our busy dynamic warehouse.
Our charity shops rely on volunteers throughout the week and the Creekmoor shop is currently looking for volunteers to help with labelling the fashion items that are donated on a daily basis.
We need helpers throughout the week in the following shifts;
Mon – Sat: 9am – 1pm and 1pm – 5pm
Sun: 10am - 1pm and 1pm – 4pm
Store address: Julia's House, Unit C & D Neighbourhood Drive, Northmead Drive, Creekmoor, BH17 7XP
Please note this is a voluntary role with no salary
Volunteering has lots of benefits from building confidence to reducing stress and is a great way to make friends and have fun.
You don’t have to have experience to be a volunteer at Julia’s House as we provide all the training you will require. You just need to be friendly, reliable on a weekly basis and have the confidence to talk to our customers and make them feel welcome. It’s a great feeling to be supporting your local community and will make all the difference to the children and families we care for locally.
