Established in 1989, Lamtek is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of flat pack kitchen carcases. We supply local and independent retailers as well as overseas kitchen distributers with flat packed own brand carcases from our warehouses in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. With our evolving customer base, we now find ourselves working alongside leading build-to-rent and student housing developers and contractors. Due to this expansion, we are currently looking to recruit a new member to join our Company as an “Estimator”, a rewarding role for the right candidate.
Duties:
- Creating accurate estimates and quotations on large kitchen and bedroom contract projects within requested timescales
- Communicating with the Sales Team to ensure issues and queries are dealt with in a timely manner to meet exact customer requirements
- Providing advice and supporting the Estimating Team
- Liaising with suppliers and customers for accurate product specification
- Filing of adhoc paperwork and maintaining good housekeeping of in-house systems
- Any other duties deemed relatable
Requirements:
- CAD drawing or similar experience (desirable)
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and convert into estimates and quotations (essential)
- Previous experience working within a similar role (essential)
- A background within manufacturing or a similar sector (desirable)
- Personable with a friendly disposition (essential)
- Previous experience working within an office environment (essential)
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook (essential)
- Clear and professional communication skills both verbally and written (essential)
- The ability to plan, organise and manage your work schedule (essential)
- Excellent relationship building skills with customers and suppliers (essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy checking (essential)

Annual Rate of Pay: £30,000 - £35,000
Location: Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
