Temporary Café/Bar Assistant

Duties

• Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including dining spaces and food preparation zones.
• Serve customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and inventory management.
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance the overall customer experience.

Experience
While prior experience in a café or food service environment is advantageous, it is not essential. Candidates should possess:

• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• A basic understanding of food safety practices.
