Following a period of significant internal investment, the business now offers capture, print and retail solutions for creators within the art sector as well as bespoke framing solutions to the public, businesses, and creators.
Working within the existing marketing, communications and design team and reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will play a key role in developing and delivering the e-commerce strategy, with a particular focus on conversion and revenue growth. The role requires an eCommerce specialist, with experience of managing retail e-commerce platforms, you will have an in-depth knowledge of optimising sales online as well as increasing channel growth.
Role and Responsibilities
· Develop and manage the brand’s digital trading calendar of key annual trading periods, product launches and promotions.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including product development, creative content, social media and fulfilment, to support activations such as product & service launches, seasonal refreshes, store openings, direct mail & distribution etc.
· Continuous monitoring of immediate impact performance areas including abandoned baskets and upsell features.
· Regular monitoring of on-site behaviour and conversion rate to deliver insights and implement relevant CRO techniques to improve on-site conversions.
· Day to day management of the company e-commerce website including product set up, asset management, product content, homepage banners, merchandising of category pages and product page updates to increase engagement and sales.
· Develop and implement long term SEO strategy.
· Maintain integrity of website through regular process and quality reviews, effective resolution of snags and be the main point of contact for all website related queries.
· Troubleshooting website issues.
· Manage the optimisation and efficiencies of the website including fundamental changes and integrations and new features via our web agency.
· Produce weekly and monthly trading and performance reports for the business analysing performance and impact against budget and targets providing actionable insights and recommendations to the Head of Marketing.
· Monitor and analyse website performance using Google Analytics, focusing on key metrics such as website visits, average time on page, average session duration, pages per session, bounce rate, and conversion rate.
· Execution of e-commerce-led email journeys with the aim of re-targeting and retaining existing customers to increase revenue through the email channel by building campaigns around audience segments and using A/B testing techniques to analyse performance and devise best practices.
· Provide ideas, innovations, and solutions to increase traffic and conversion through optimising on-site activity by testing different thresholds, codes, upsells, automatic discounts etc to increase conversion rates and drive sales growth.
· Own the online customer purchase experience through effective management of the visual brand identity, communications, and messaging, aligning them with the brand values and goals.
· Use insights to assist in the growth of our email subscriber database, focusing on key performance indicators such as increasing subscribers, reducing churn, and improving customer satisfaction.
· Develop and implement customer acquisition and retention strategies to drive sustainable growth.
Skills and Experience
Essential
· Experience using the Mailchimp platform or similar.
· Experience of project management is essential ideally gained within a digital environment would be preferable.
· Experience working with data from web analytics platforms.
· SEO mindset.
· Problem-solver and able to multitask.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills and able to work across multiple departments.
· Expertise in e-commerce, email delivery and using Google Analytics software.
· Understanding of building customer journeys.
· Ability to make data-driven decisions.
· Demonstrate a ‘can do’ approach to projects and tasks.
Desirable
· Knowledge of the Aero Commerce platform.
· Experience of implementing successful SEO.
Qualifications & Experience
· A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business management or digital media related subject.
· A working knowledge of retail business and e-commerce best practices.
· E Commerce trading management experience within retail business.
· Proven track record of driving online sales growth.
· Digital marketing experience in e-commerce, specifically PPC, shopping, re-marketing, and display.
Desirable
· Additional qualifications in digital marketing or Google Analytics.
