We’re looking for our first Senior Content Designer in the UX Product Design team to lead and pioneer the area of Content Strategy and UX Writing. As we weave stories about our products on web and app, skills in content management and metadata are a vital part of our collective team growth. You’ll work with editors, writers, engineering, product managers, and of course the UX team - to achieve a collective understanding and set of goals in this space. You’ll devise appropriate content models, workflows, and copy platforms to achieve these. Working with the Product Designers, you’ll support developing understanding and skills in this area through peer-learning.
You are a keen storyteller and great communicator across multiple channels. You take a human-centric approach to your work – seeking out insights both qualitative and quantitative to inform your strategies and writing. Structure and systems do not bamboozle you, and you are fluent in cross-discipline collaborations on content production workflows and related processes.

What you'll do:
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Create content models for re-use that support a range of customer experiences across different platforms.
- Work with Content creation and Editorial teams to understand their workflow, and co-create new approaches to storytelling that flow across our digital products.
- Pioneer content design and content strategy across the UX and Online teams.
- Create tone of voice and UX writing content and guidelines for digital M&S experiences
- Build from a wide range of customer insights to put the customer at the heart of your work.
- Collaborate closely with product designers and user researchers to ensure they are researching or designing for content and copy in the right way.
Who you are:
Your skills and experience will include:
- Forging new practice in teams for content design and strategy.
- Experience of working in a content rich, online eCommerce environment.
- Has written UX content for and created content strategies for a range of platforms – web, app, kiosk, TV, console etc.
- Able to create strong multi-discipline working relationships and tap into networks for support and coordination.
- Familiar with theories on psychology and behavioural science when it comes to language.
- Resilience and persistence when bringing about change and introducing new things.
