We are currently looking to employ on a full-time basis a team of Fixers and Fixer Mates for one of our upcoming projects based in Manchester. As our main activity on this job will be the façade installation, your daily tasks will be Curtain Wall Installation (brackets, transoms, mullions, aluminium panels, glass installation, glass replacement, etc.). The works may also involve some cladding installation from brackets installation to the final aluminium panels etc.
This project will be for a length of approximately 14 to 18 months, however in terms of other projects we’re fully booked for the next couple of years so there is a long-term perspective for the right candidates.
All you need for this job is a valid CSCS Card, - IPAF / PASMA / Harness Training will be a plus, OWN TOOLS IS A MUST IF YOU ARE A FIXER, safety boots, and be able to work full time from Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm (10 hrs. shift), and some Saturdays if / when required.
The salaries range will from £12.50 - £15 / h for fixer mates, and £15 - £18 / h for fixers. It will all depend on your experience, qualifications you currently hold, what tools you own and the desire to be productive.
