DPD Flex Driver Personal Vehicle

As a DPD Delivery Driver, you will use your own vehicle to deliver parcels for DPD in collaboration with DPD. Drivers collect packages from DPD distribution centres or DPD depots and ensure efficient and timely delivery to customers, providing flexibility in your working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package Collection: Pick up parcels from DPD depots for onward delivery.
• Delivery: Ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers, adhering to pre-defined delivery windows.
• Technology Use: Utilise the DPD app for route navigation, customer communication, and managing deliveries.
• Customer Interaction: Deliver parcels professionally, providing an excellent customer service experience.
• Safe Driving: Follow local traffic laws and maintain a safety-first mindset, adhering to all Amazon Flex and DPD safety guidelines.
• Vehicle Care: Keep your vehicle well-maintained, roadworthy, and insured, ensuring reliable and efficient deliveries.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Access to a reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
• Smartphone with the Amazon Flex app (iOS or Android).
• Ability to lift and transport packages weighing up to 20 kg.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of local routes and areas of operation.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Prior experience in delivery or logistics services.
• Familiarity with DPD processes and systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
