Reporting to the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will have a confident telephone manner, IT literacy, strong organisation skills, excellent attention to detail, enthusiasm and a commitment to providing first class customer service. Previous experience within a Customer Service environment along with the ability to handle consistent, high volumes of calls is essential.
The main responsibilities of the role will include booking deliveries, checking stats and cost queries, assisting drivers with delivery problems, replying to enquiries via email, debriefing drivers and handling calls from other depots and the general public.
The successful applicant, who will ideally have previous experience in a Traffic Office, will also be expected to learn how to plan delivery and collection routes. Full training will be given in this area.
Working hours - Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm
Based out of our Milton Keynes, Kiln Farm operation
Paid holiday entitlement 25 days excluding bank holidays
Company paid lunch every last Friday of the month
