JOB OVERVIEW Manufactures solid oral dose products and is fully competent on all relevant operation, start-up, cleaning and checking procedures associated with the operation of a Pharmaceutical plant, ensuring a high-quality output is achieved in a safe and effective manner. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Manufacturing a wide variety of Pharmaceutical products according to approved procedures and SOP’s • Dispensing of active and non-active ingredients in accordance with the approved manufacturing procedures • Granulating products utilising techniques such as wet granulation, dry granulation, and roller compaction • Compression of formulated products utilising high speed rotary compression machines • Carrying out equipment checks and minor maintenance work to minimise down time e.g., checking oil levels, wear on parts, changing filters etc. • Clean equipment and areas following established procedures • Investigate and report problems on equipment or processes utilising established problem-solving techniques such as 5 Why’s. • Completes all associated paperwork, logbooks and computer data entry in accordance with data integrity principles and cGMP. • Utilise improvement techniques to support a continuous improvement culture in order to drive performance improvement • Supports SFT & CANDO deployment • Supports learning and development by providing buddy training and assessment where applicable.
