Job Posting for Junior 3D Generalist at Pixelfield Ltd
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior 3D Generalist to join our art team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for game development and a solid understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation. You will work closely with the Art Senior and Art Director to bring our game worlds to life.
Responsibilities:
Model and texture game-ready creatures and weapons from concept art.
Rig creatures and weapons for animation.
Perform some animation tasks as needed.
Collaborate with the art team to ensure consistency and quality of assets.
Report to the Art Senior and/or Art Director.
Requirements:
Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter).
Experience with rigging and basic animation.
Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and structure in creature and weapon design.
Ability to work from concept art and reference materials.
Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
Knowledge of additional software such as ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, etc.
A portfolio showcasing relevant 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation work.
