As ROAVR continues to grow year on year, we are now looking to appoint a Trainee Sales Advisor on a full-time permanent basis.

The role
We provide various Arboricultural and Ecological services on a nationwide basis and you will be responsible for handling enquiries that come into the business and advising our clients on the best course of action.
In order to support you in your role and growth, continuous ongoing CPD will be provided and we also have a team of knowledgeable and experienced consultants to support you where needed with customer enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:1. Managing Inbound Sales Inquiries- Handling sales inquiries:
- Serve as point of contact for inbound sales enquiries from new and existing customers, whether received via phone, email or our vast digital platforms.
- Lead follow-up:
- Ensure all leads are promptly followed up on and appropriately categorised, maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
- Identify repeat customers:
- And give them the best possible service you can offer..
2. Quotation Preparation and Submission- Preparing quotations:
- Accurately prepare and submit sales quotations within 24 hours of receiving all necessary information from the customer and ROAVR staff
- Information gathering:
- Engage with customers to ensure all pertinent details are collected to provide accurate and competitive quotations.
- Timely delivery:
- Maintain a commitment to providing quotations quickly and efficiently, adhering to the 24-hour turnaround requirement.
3. Customer and Lead Management- CRM management:
- Keep customer records up to date, ensuring that all interactions, sales status, and progress notes are properly logged.
- CRM updates:
- Ensure customer contact records for repeat customers are accurately maintained in our CRM, updating any new information or changes promptly.
4. Lead Tracking and Communication- Lead correlation:
- Gather and correlate leads from various sources to ensure that they are organised and responded to in a timely manner
- Instant messaging:
- When required, respond to messages received through our instant messaging platforms promptly, ensuring no communication is missed.
5. Sales Order and Invoice Coordination- Order confirmation:
- Once a sales instruction is received, confirm the order and notify the Office Manager to create and send an invoice.
- Order verification:
- For customers not subject to payment before deployment, ensure that an appropriately formatted purchase order is received and properly filed.
6. Job Preparation and Assignment - will eventually move to an ops role- Job preparation:
- Once a job is confirmed, ensure that the job is properly set up in our service software, and assign it to the correct consultant for execution.
- Consultant coordination:
- Liaise with consultants to confirm they have received all necessary information and are prepared to carry out the job.
7. Internal Communication and Team Support- Slack communication:
- Regularly check and respond to messages on Slack to maintain open lines of communication with colleagues and management.
- Collaborative support:
- Work closely with the supporting office staff and other team members to ensure smooth handoffs of tasks, information, and customer interactions.
About you
Ideally you will have experience of working within an office/ customer service environment. You will be required to gather information from potential customers in order to best support them; you will be able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
- You will have excellent communication skills and strong IT skills.
- Attention to detail and a focus on getting things right the first time are essential.
- Additionally, appropriate signposting to other services is also required.
- An ability to audio type would be advantageous.
- Some knowledge of arboriculture and ecology would be advantageous but full training will be provided.
