This is not an entry-level role. We need candidates with existing experience in the technology sector who are eager to transition into the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) industry. This is a challenging and demanding job, and we are only looking for highly motivated, adaptable, and technically skilled individuals who can thrive under pressure.
What you will do:
- Flight Operations – Pilot cutting-edge drones for high-stakes projects across diverse industries.
- Safety & Compliance – Conduct rigorous pre-flight and post-flight inspections and strictly adhere to CAA regulations.
- Mission Planning – Work closely with our operations team to execute complex flight plans.
- Technical Maintenance – Troubleshoot and maintain drone hardware, software, and payload systems.
- Innovation & SOP Development – Contribute to refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
What We Expect from You:
- Technology Background - Prior experience or qualification in a tech-focused industry (e.g., software, hardware, engineering, robotics, GIS, or aviation).
- UAS Knowledge - A fundamental understanding of drone components, payloads, and flight mechanics.
- Mental & Physical Robustness - This is a high-demand role requiring resilience, adaptability, and precision.
- Regulatory Awareness - A working knowledge of drone regulations, aviation safety protocols, and airspace restrictions.
- Team Collaboration - Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure with other aviation professionals.
Extra Points if You Have:
- Hands-on experience with rotary or fixed-wing drones.
- Expertise in GIS mapping, data analysis, or drone photogrammetry.
- Familiarity with CAA regulations and licensing requirements.
- Knowledge of drone payload systems (cameras, LiDAR, thermal imaging sensors, etc.).
