Sand Martins Golf Club is a vibrant member’s golf club, located in Wokingham, Berkshire. An exciting opportunity now exists for a Trainee Greenkeeper.
We are seeking a friendly, versatile individual who will integrate into an enthusiastic team to assist with the day-to-day greenkeeping operation of the golf course.
The successful applicant will be hardworking, reliable, and highly motivated. Be a team player possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
The Candidate:
● This is a hand on role, which requires working predominately outdoors.
● Should have ambition to push levels of attainment in every area that build on the local reputation of Sand Martins Golf Club.
● Self-motivated and a team player with a very good eye for detail
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
● No experience required – full training will be provided with the opportunity of NVQ training provided following successful completion of probation
● A keen golfer or an understanding of the rules of golf would be desirable
● A full UK drivers’ licence
The package will include a competitive salary, company pension scheme, staff meals, free golf & membership BIGGA membership (upon completion of probation) and opportunity to attend educational events. We also offer 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
Salary is dependent on qualifications & experience.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, to include weekend and Bank Holiday working.
