Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive care. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.

Duties

• Perform tyre installations, rotations, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to assess wear and damage.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Assist customers with tyre-related inquiries and provide recommendations based on their needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while handling heavy lifting tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for diagnosing tyre issues and performing repairs.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tyre installations and removals.
• Experience using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £25,472.00-£26,860.00 per year
