Minibus / Welfare Drivers

Shannon Rail was established over 20 years ago, initially to provide the UK rail industry with self-contained mobile site access units and road haulage facilities. Since then the company has expanded to provide a range of ancillary support solutions to the sector. We have worked with leading suppliers of welfare pods and toilet blocks to produce towable eco-friendly designs to our own bespoke specifications as well as building our own units in our workshop. We don’t think of ourselves as a labour supply company, a transport company or a training/medical provider, we see ourselves as a Railway Business.

We are currently looking for an expression of interest in an upcoming contract.

We potentially require 10 drivers in Sussex to support our client, This expression of interest will then help us create a portfolio of workers who live close to the below towns. Its not precise but is a starting basis. Specific site locations are to be confirmed.

Specifically we require drivers who hold Category D1 (Minibus) however we can also utilise a Full valid UK Licence category B for our Welfare Van drivers.

If you're looking for additional work or are retired/semi retired and interested in some ad hoc shifts each week/weekend and would like to be considered, please get in touch.

Please note this is not a permanent role and therefore would not be suitable for anyone currently in a full time position.

Salary: £12.00 per hour
