Looking for a fast-paced role in digital marketing where creativity is endless and no day is the same? Skala Digital is a female-led digital marketing agency. We work with SMEs across the UK to bring their digital presence to life, acting as a seamless extension of their business.

We are seeking the perfect-fit Digital Marketing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will act as an integral part of our clients' operations, closely aligning with their vision, goals, and brand identity to manage and elevate their website and email presence.

We want our hire to be creative and full of ideas, able to pivot on the spot, make design suggestions with conversion in mind and carefully watch data and performance to see what’s working, and what’s not. This position requires a commitment to understanding client’s needs, tone of voice, different audiences and brand aesthetics, crafting landing pages and email campaigns, and producing engaging results that help to convert warm audiences into loyal customers.

This position will report directly to the Founder/CEO.

What you'd be doing:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Updating and evolving client websites with the latest product/service updates, case studies and design tweaks for optimisation.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase website traffic.
  • Write SEO-optimised blogs and case studies for client websites.
  • Design landing pages that stand out and are SEO-optimised for maximum reach.
  • Use a variety of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Mailerlite, Pipedrive) to create engaging email marketing campaigns designed to convert and foster customer engagement.
  • Craft attention-grabbing subject lines, enticing copy, and engaging imagery, ensuring a high level of detail and accuracy.
  • Use GA4 and other analytics tools to explore where the website gaps are and create suggestions for improvement and enhancement.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our in-house email and web presence.

Skills/requirements:

  • Proven skills in website design on Squarespace, Wix, Shopify or Wordpress, ideally with a small portfolio or examples of work. Coding experience is not necessary for this role.
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices and principles.
  • Experience using email marketing platforms for campaigns and automations.
  • Exceptional ability to capture and convey different brand visuals, voices and personalities through different marketing channels.
  • Basic graphic design skills and proficiency in relevant software and platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and improve the effectiveness of campaigns based on website and email KPIs.
  • An excellent standard of written and spoken English, with a keen eye for detail in grammar and spelling.

About the role

We work in the office on Monday & Tuesday to chat creative stuff, drink coffee and talk through client results and upcoming client campaigns. We also think it's nice to see one another! Wed-Fri is remote working.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £24,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 37.5 per week
