The Garden Centre offers a wide range of plants, animal feed, gifts, and garden furniture. With popular family events like the giant Maize Maze and a renowned Fenland Breakfast at the Cafe, Skylark provides a unique experience for visitors.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Garden Centre Manager at Skylark. The role involves daily tasks such as overseeing plant care, managing inventory, assisting customers and supporting the Garden Centre Manager in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plants, gardening, and garden care
• Experience in customer service and retail management
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with event coordination and promotion
• Knowledge of local sourcing for cafe ingredients is a plus
• Previous experience in a garden centre or related industry
