We are seeking dedicated volunteers to serve as
Independent Panel Members for School Admission Appeals in Suffolk.
This is an impactful opportunity to ensure every child has a fair chance at education.
Your Responsibilities
In your role you will need to hear appeals from parents concerning the non-admission of their child to a school. This will involve you adhering to statutory guidelines to guarantee independence, fairness, impartiality, and transparency during the appeal process.
You will need
- to be a good listener
- consistent availability throughout the year
- access to Microsoft Teams and email for communication and appeal proceedings.
