You will hold an accredited postgraduate qualification in Archive Administration and have solid, wide-ranging post-qualification experience of working in archives.
The post holder will be responsible for managing staff and project management, ensuring that our service is delivered to the highest standard.
This vacancy comes at an exciting and challenging time for the Archive Service, which is due to move to new premises in Swansea city centre during 2025. The post holder will play a pivotal role in planning and effecting the move of the service and in ensuring we deliver the best service to our community.
The job is currently based in Swansea Civic Centre, but you will also be required on occasion to work in our Neath service point.
West Glamorgan Archive Service is a joint service for Swansea and Neath Port Talbot Councils.
