About the Role

As a Partnership Coordinator at Syncora, you will be responsible for the strategic coordination of partner organisations involved in the mental health community transformation contract. This includes overseeing the delivery of mental health peer support and physical outreach services. You will work closely with the Director of Partnerships & Collaboration to ensure that the partnership functions smoothly, delivering quality outcomes for people affected by serious mental illness (SMI).

This role will require extensive liaison with colleagues across partner organisations, service users, commissioners, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive improvements in mental health services. You will also be a key contributor to the development of tenders and funding submissions, focusing on partnership elements and social value. Additionally, you will support contract compliance, performance management, and the mobilisation of services.


Key Responsibilities:

-Coordinate the delivery of mental health peer support and physical outreach services across partner organisations

-Work with the Director of Partnerships & Collaboration on strategic planning and collaboration between Syncora and external partners

-Provide input for tenders and funding bids, focusing on partnership and social value, KPIs, and data management

-Liaise extensively with service users, partner agencies, commissioners, and stakeholders to improve outcomes

-Develop and promote a vibrant partnership model, ensuring active participation from service users in the co-production of peer-led programmes

-Assist in overseeing contract compliance, ensuring timely reporting, and managing any discrepancies

-Facilitate regular Partnership Board and Steering Group meetings with partners, stakeholders, and service user representatives

-Produce reports and monitor contract performance to ensure that services meet the requirements and standards

-Collaborate with Syncora’s Governance and Assurance team and Group Business Services to ensure quality control across services

-Build strong relationships with local authorities, statutory agencies, funders, and other key contacts to enhance collaboration and secure future service contracts.

-Improve service outcomes for individuals affected by serious mental illness

-Support the development of a cohesive, recognisable partnership brand that promotes community-based mental health services

-Ensure the service model is well understood and that referral pathways are clear

-Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities that may impact the service

-Promote inclusivity and accessibility for all communities across Lancashire and South Cumbria

-Monitor and report on performance data, identifying areas for improvement to ensure the highest quality service delivery.


Activities Involved in This Role:

-Regular coordination and management of partnership meetings and steering groups

-Work closely with Lancashire Mind to develop training and deliver interventions

-Represent the partnership at health and social care events and meetings

-Manage reporting and data requirements across the partnership to ensure consistent and accurate contract returns

-Act as the main point of contact for partners and stakeholders, addressing any service delivery issues and promoting best practices

-Support innovative service development and the shaping of mental health services for individuals experiencing serious mental illness.


What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Essential:

-Demonstrable experience in contract management, strategic planning, and service development

-Experience in multi-agency and partnership working within community-based environments

-Proven ability to handle data reporting, performance monitoring, and evaluation

-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders

-Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

-Experience in producing project monitoring and evaluation reports for commissioners and internal stakeholders

-A commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.


Desirable:

-Knowledge of the grant-funding process and experience in generating additional income

-Understanding of local NHS structures, the Lancashire and South Cumbria Mental Health Transformation programme, and the Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector

-Media-related skills, including experience with digital media and broadcasting

Knowledge of mental health legislation and local community issues in Lancashire and South Cumbria

-Core Skills and Requirements:
