Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential clerical and administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various office software and excellent phone etiquette, making it vital for maintaining effective communication within the organisation and with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Maintain an organised filing system to ensure easy retrieval of documents.
  • Handle incoming calls professionally, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Utilise Google Suite for document creation, scheduling, and communication.
  • Manage financial records using QuickBooks, including invoicing and tracking expenses.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations as needed.
  • Coordinate office activities and events to foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure that office supplies are adequately stocked and ordered when necessary.
  • Support other administrative staff in their duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using computerised systems, particularly Microsoft word and excel.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
