The Role Unveiled
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to develop and expand our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) activities across our global locations.

Our Social Value Partner will also take the lead in writing compelling bid submissions that highlight the exceptional work our organisation is accomplishing. These submissions, primarily targeting government entities, aim to secure relevant contracts and funding to further our impactful initiatives.

This is a new role in our organisation, will be Hybrid between our Leeds office and your home address, and we welcome applications for those interested in working Full Time, or Part-Time.

Your Role in Action
  • Develop, implement, and oversee CSR, EDI, and ESG strategies and initiatives across all global locations, leading and working in collaboration with our established EDI & CSR committees, and our Global Head of People & Talent and People Team, to support ongoing development in these areas.
  • Drive CSR, EDI and ESG projects that enhance the company’s already strong position, in these areas.
  • Promote, lead, and support initiatives to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace environment.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to integrate CSR, EDI, and ESG goals with the company’s business strategy and culture.
  • Monitor and report on CSR, EDI, and ESG performance, ensuring alignment with global standards and benchmarks. Set and achieve KPI’s in all areas, reporting on progress throughout the year, and updating policy documents to showcase the achievements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, charities, and community organisations.
  • Lead the creation and submission of government bids with regards to Social Value and other ESG, EDI and/or CSR sections, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements and maximising potential for successful outcomes. Working closely with the relevant teams, ensure all bid submissions meet the requirements and deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Lead on Gender Pay Gap and Ethnicity Pay Gap reporting and work with the relevant teams and staff networks to reduce any gaps identified. Propose and implement recommendations to promote equality of access and opportunity.
  • Act as the subject matter expert in relation to EDI, CSR, and ESG training, identifying requirements and commissioning and/or delivering briefing sessions and training programmes for managers, staff, and other stakeholders as necessary. This will include the development of relevant e-learning packages and input to the design and delivery of induction and mandatory training sessions as appropriate, working with the People Team.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate proposals, presentations, and reports to support government bid submissions, share updates with our established committees, internal and external partners, and the board.
  • Manage budgets and resources for CSR, EDI, and ESG projects, ensuring their efficient and effective use to maximise impact.
  • Ensure all commitments are delivered aligned to agree timescales.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in CSR, EDI, and ESG.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of People & Talent, our committees, and other relevant teams, to develop the overall strategy for our organisation to drive improved outcomes.

The Perfect Match: Your Skills & Talents
  • Passionate about making positive change, with experience of successfully leading change and driving transformation.
  • Previous experience in CSR, EDI, ESG management, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful government bids.
  • Strong understanding of CSR, EDI, and ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements, along with a strong understanding of Social Value elements within government bids. Global experience is not required, but advantageous.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
