Ducting Fitter Installer Ventilation Extraction Systems HVAC

Our team of 30 people operate nationwide dealing with Local Exhaust Ventilation equipment and its statutory requirements. A function of our business is to install spiral ducting and Local Exhaust Ventilation equipment to improve Health and Safety standars in workplaces and ensure workers are not exposed to hazardous fumes and dusts which can affect their health. We operate in a diverse range of applications including Nuclear sites, Airports, Manufacturing, Education and Small businesses.

Duct Installer

Complete a weekly schedule of site visits around the U.K. This role can involve frequent overnight stays around the UK.

• Start off projects in line with company procedures
• Keep the Site Supervisor fully informed of progress and adhere to all procedures
• Be respectful and courteous to your colleagues and clients
• Fit spiral ducting and Loval Exhaust Ventilation equipment
• Working to tight time scales to complete jobs on time
• High standard of workmanship and service is required

Training and Supervision

• PASMA, IPAF, Confined Spaces, Roof Awareness, Hot Works, Grinding Wheels
• To complete all training as deemed appropriate to your job role
• To make your manager aware of any work you do not feel fully trained to do
• Driving license, commitment to Health and Safety, a high standard of customer service, good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative to overcome site problems are requirements

Starting Salary - £30,000 per annum payable monthly in arrears dependent on qualifications and experience in our industry.

Monday-Friday schedule.

An attendance allowance will be paid of £50 per calendar month to employees who do not have an unauthorised or sickness day off during any particular month up to payment of the allowance. The attendance allowance of £600 will be paid with your November pay for all employees who have completed full employment up to and including the month of October.

Annual Holiday Entitlement is 20 days per annum plus statutory holidays, which will increase by an extra day's holiday for each continuous year of service following the first anniversary of employment and there after each January, up to a maximum of 5 additional day's per annum.
