Perform phlebotomy and other duties within the laboratory supporting other staff within the team whilst providing optimum patient care.
Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services provides phlebotomy services at 6 main sites; University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, City of Coventry Health Centre in Coventry, Hospital of St Cross in Rugby, George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton and South Warwick Foundation Trust in Warwick with Out-patient and In-Patient services. A number of Community Clinics, GP Clinics and Domiciliary services are also supported, covering, Coventry, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Birmingham.

We are currently looking for Phlebotomists to work at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire, City of Coventry Health Centre and Hospital of St Cross in Rugby. We are looking to increase access to our services for patients, and are therefore looking to introduce both In-patient and Out-Patient services across 7 days. Applicants will be expected to work shift patterns to support these services going forwards, including early, late, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts.
We are looking for some keen and flexible individuals to be trained to a high level to become Phlebotomists within our team. The role will require a full UK driving licence as you may be asked to work on other sites and transfer items between them, although a main ‘base’ site will be identified. Full and Part time positions are available.
