We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales advisor to join our outdoor horticultural team at our Cheltenham garden centre.
The role involves working within an established team; outdoor plants, merchandising plants, stoneware and compost. You’ll care for and maintain the quality of our plants, as well as helping customers with all their plant needs. With the lead up to Christmas, the focus of the role will be selling Christmas trees.
You’ll work closely with team members and department managers to ensure consistently high retail standards, displays and customer service are delivered.
Horticultural and retail experience is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm/passion for gardening/plants would be ideal but equally valuable is a friendly personality and a willingness to learn/progress a career in horticulture.
This is an outdoor, physical role, so experience of working outdoors in all weathers and manual handling is a must.
This is a zero hours role. Normal working days are Saturdays and Sundays. You must be able to work weekends and be flexible to cover weekday shifts as needed.
The role is based at our store in Cheltenham and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
