Role Overview

Whitehaven Marina, part of the Marina Projects Group, is seeking a friendly and efficient Weekend Receptionist to join our team. As a Weekend Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and customers at Whitehaven Marina. Your role is essential in ensuring that all customers receive a warm welcome and professional service.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service - Greet and assist marina visitors and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations - Handle phone calls, emails, and face-to-face inquiries efficiently.
  • Reservations - Manage bookings for marina services and berths.
  • Administrative Support - Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.
  • Support - Assist the Marina Manager with various tasks as needed, including weekend event coordination.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Adaptability - Ability to work weekends and adapt to varied tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£11.65 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
