Location: Nottingham
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Yu Group are recruiting for a permanent Onboarding Analyst to work in Nottingham. This role is reporting to the Operations Delivery Manager.

The Back Office / Onboarding team prides itself with providing the best customer experience and efficient processes. The team ensures a smooth transfer for customers joining the business and are also responsible for ensuring the Billing System delivers billing requirements in a timely fashion, which includes dealing with complex billing queries. The team is also responsible for liaising with third party agents to resolve high level exception queries together with monitoring/executing business settlement performance in line with industry standards.

What We Need from Yü

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

  • To support the Back Office in assimilating a variety of Business Reporting, which will include interpreting complex data into a succinct format for the accurate portrayal of operational performance which drives and enhances business performance.

  • Create and develop a suite of Management Information (MI) reports that effectively convey the performance of all parts of the Back Office Team and wider Operations Department.

  • Produce ad-hoc assigned analysis to a high level of accuracy and within designated timeframes.

  • Designing and developing dashboards to show business statistics & metrics to improve understanding of business processes, identify potential limitations and provide operational resilience.

  • Be able to do reconciliation within specific reports and systems used within Onboarding.

  • Ensure a consistent message is produced across MI suite, including those produced by other teams.

  • Use reports to identify trends and anomalies, and use acquired business knowledge to understand the underlying root causes and identify resolutions.

  • Define & document business requirements together with scoping new reports for development in line with the business objectives.

  • You will need to be a self-motivated team player, able to work on own initiative and be proactive.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of working with a complex data architecture

  • Good level of data manipulation skills

  • Extensive experience in using MS Office tools i.e. Excel for analytic/reporting (e.g. Pivot tables, Data queries, Macro's complex formulas etc)

  • Experience of producing insightful analysis from diverse data sources

  • Experience of using data analysis software

  • Familiar with Data quality and data cleansing techniques

  • Strong analytical & problem solving capabilities



Desirable Skills:

  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Able to manage time effectively and prioritise own workload

  • Able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities as required

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Data flow management

  • Industry energy experience with Data flow management

  • Data cleanse management experience
