Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable applications and improve system performance. The client specializes in developing software solutions that streamline and accelerate complex processes from planning to production for both digital and print advertising materials. The client serves prominent international clients in the retail and industrial sectors.

About the Role

• Design, develop, and test software applications and interfaces for various system components.
• Implement database-based applications and optimize SQL queries and database structures.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to internal coding guidelines.
• Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers in Agile two-week sprints.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Follow a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach to ensure high-quality code.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of C# and .NET with hands-on development experience.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases (MS SQL Server) and database optimizations.
• Familiarity with interfaces such as WebAPI, gRPC, GraphQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills.
• Professional, honest, and open communication within a team.
• Very good knowledge of German (spoken and written).

Pay range and compensation package

Salary expectation: Up to 70.000 K g.p.a
