Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing partnerships with supplying dealers and collision repairers. Your primary goal is to deliver a successful Collision Total Loss Avoidance programme. You will also be expected to grow the company’s network, foster relationships, and drive performance by onboarding high-quality partners. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and target supplying dealers and collision repairers to onboard into CLB network.
Deliver successful Total Loss Avoidance programme through OEC’s CollisionLink Broker application by working directly with Repairers, Dealers and OEM’s.
Conduct presentations, product demos, and negotiations to secure partnerships.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and customer support) to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing engagement.
Uses analysis of spend patterns to prioritize activities to customers with the greatest growth potential.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to refine business strategies.
Act as a spare parts consultant, supporting the independent repairers by providing product and price information, advantages vs. OES, etc.
Collects feedback and customer intelligence and shares with the Account Manager and OEM in order to enable a first-class trade operation, fulfilling and exceeding customer expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 2 years of experience within dealer parts sales or aftersales is required.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the automotive, supply chain, or collision repair industry.
Trade Parts Sales experience.
Strong understanding of dealership operations and/or collision repair business models.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Fluency in both German and English with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and motor vehicle EPC’s.
Special Position Requirements
Frequent travel to visit dealers and repairers based in Austria is required for this role.
