In 2022, Asmodee founded the European Player Network (EPN) to bring English-language board games from the U.S. to the European market. These are highly sought-after fan products in a rapidly growing niche market.


To further expand our e-commerce activities, we are looking for an experienced E-commerce Manager with expertise in B2C, online sales, and Shopify.


As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a E-Commerce Manager on a permanent contract. The position is based at our offices in the Eindhoven region, in Helmond.



Responsibilities:


As the E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and optimization of our online sales channels. You will focus on developing our Shopify webshop, managing a wide range of European marketplaces, and improving the digital customer experience. Additionally, you will lead a team of three E-commerce Specialists, coaching, guiding, and managing the team to achieve common goals.


In this regard, your responsibilities will include the following:


E-commerce & Sales Strategy


  • Manage and optimize the Shopify webshop and online marketplaces.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue in Europe.
  • Use and manage PIM software and ChannelEngine for efficient product and order distribution.


Product & Assortment Management


  • Expand and manage the product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with publishers and suppliers to launch new products.
  • Ensure optimal product presentation across all sales channels.


Optimization & Data Analysis


  • Implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and conversions.
  • Analyze data and use insights to continuously improve the webshop and marketplaces.
  • Optimize the digital customer experience to boost conversion rates.


Market Expansion & Business Development


  • Research and implement new sales opportunities and markets.
  • Collaborate with European distributors and retailers as additional sales channels.
  • Increase EPN's visibility through online promotions and strategic partnerships.


Leadership & Team Development


  • Manage, coach, and guide a team of three E-commerce Specialists.
  • Set goals and monitor the team’s performance to drive improvements.
  • Ensure efficient task allocation and teamwork within the team.
  • Identify development opportunities and training to elevate the team to the next level.
  • Provide regular feedback and foster a positive, productive work environment.



Profile:


We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce and online sales, ideally with a solid background using Shopify and various online marketplaces. You have a strong understanding of B2C strategies and are skilled at optimizing the digital customer journey.

Familiarity with PIM software and ChannelEngine would be a significant advantage. Your expertise in SEO and conversion optimization allows you to drive measurable results.


You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable making data-driven decisions. A proven track record in leadership and team coaching is essential, as well as a hands-on mentality and an entrepreneurial mindset.


Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
