Job Posting for Technician Avionics Shop at Cargolux Airlines
Task Responsibilities:
Repair, overhaul & modify the electro-mechanical components in the shop
Operate the test bench for troubleshooting and testing of electro-mechanical components
Assist in creating tools and test fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs and tests
Operate shop tooling and test equipment
Provide verbal and written hand-over of his work to team members and superiors
Essential Requirements For The Position:
Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship in a relevant field
Minimum three years experience in the repair of electrical components
Good understanding of drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals and repair methods
Mature attitude, ability to work in a team and independently
Willingness to work two shifts
Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language will be considered an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook), TRAX is an advantage
Working Conditions:
Full time, temporary position until September 2026, based in Luxembourg
Day and afternoon shift work as per the shop working schedule
Regular and full-time presence required, vacations and other absences to be planned respecting shop needs
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
