Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of Luxembourg holding companies/SPV´s

• Ensuring the accounting process from A to Z for this portfolio (booking bank statements, invoices, interests, contracts, accruals etc.)
• Preparation of VAT and corporate tax returns and ensuring timely filing
• Preparation of financial statements and support during audits
• Liaising with various stakeholders including, banks, auditors, legal and tax advisors
• Assure the administrative follow-up of companies with regard to their financial reporting and tax compliance obligations
• Addressing ad hoc tax queries, including local and foreign regulatory requests
• Taking full ownership of the portfolio and manage deadlines effectively
• Training and mentoring junior accountants

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting or a comparable education, ideally with further training as a certified accountant.
• 3-6 years of professional experience in Luxembourg private equity finance and accounting, in an investment management company or service provider environment.
• Good knowledge of accounting according to Lux GAAP and IFRS
• Have a great eye for detail, and a solution-oriented way of working.
• Professional level of English, both written and spoken
