Director Strategy and Operations - Global Private Equity firm

Context:

Our client is a leading investment firm focused on creating long-term value through operational excellence and transformative growth across various key sectors, including Technology.

We are looking for a candidate with 10 years of experience in the Luxembourg Funds sector to play a pivotal role in driving both strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. You will manage processes and ensure seamless collaboration across both internal teams and external partners, as well as the oversight of the Professional Services function, including Finance, HR, PMO, and general operations.

Key responsibilities:

As the Managing Director's right-hand, lead strategic initiatives and drive operational improvements across key functions, including Finance, HR, and Project Management. Oversee internal teams and external vendors, manage budgets and audits, and drive continuous innovation. Foster cross-functional alignment, champion technology adoption, and ensure performance through KPIs. Stay ahead of industry technology trends to support long-term goals and maintain operational excellence.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 10 years of experience in a sovereign strategic role at a Big 4 or top-tier Private Equity firm.
• Proven ability to leverage IT and technology solutions to drive business transformation and operational efficiency.
• Deep understanding of fund operations and operating models within private equity or alternative investments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and experience working independently and taking initiative on complex projects.
