Our client, a leading company in the financial sector, is seeking an experienced Business Controller to join their finance team in Brussels, Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving business performance through financial analysis and strategic insights.

Job Description:

• Provide financial analysis and business insights to support decision-making and strategic planning across different departments.

• Monitor and control business performance, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted results, and propose corrective actions when necessary.

• Develop and manage financial forecasting models to ensure accuracy in budgeting and financial planning.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

• Ensure proper cost allocation and expense management, supporting cost optimization initiatives.

• Collaborate with business leaders to define financial KPIs and improve financial performance.

• Support the business in identifying and analyzing key trends, market conditions, and financial risks.

• Develop and implement financial models to evaluate business opportunities and investments.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Support the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a business controlling or financial analysis role.

• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to transform financial data into actionable business insights.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior management.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is a plus.

• Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
