Description:

we are looking for a Responsible AI consultant to support the implementation of a strategic and seamless Responsible AI framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory and risk requirements, ethical and environmental standards, as well as societal expectations, increasing the bank's reputation and trust through robust and safe AI solutions.

The Responsible AI consultant will act as an independent technical expert , providing objective recommendations and solutions on best practices for development of AI systems, focusing on risk management such as risk mitigation of bias, explainability, fairness, reliability, sustainability. As a technical referent, this individual will challenge technical decisions and provide guidance to ensure the development of robust and trustworthy AI systems .

She/he provides insight to develop and implement a medium- and long-term vision and strategy for leveraging Artificial Intelligence to drive business growth. She/he provides strategic guidance on risk framework, such as whether and how to invest in Responsible AI initiatives. She/he can act also as a sounding board thanks to her/his experience for any AI framework.
Your responsibilities as a Responsible AI consultant:

• You design, develop and implement AI Risk Framework (boards, policies, processes, artefacts and tools) to ensure robustness and fairness of our high-risk AI systems and use cases:

  • Accountability and ownership

  • Robustness and safety

  • Transparency and explainability

  • Human Oversight

  • Privacy and data management

  • Non-discrimination and fairness

  • Societal and environmental impact
    
    

• You collaborate, support and interact:

  • closely with BNP Paribas Group entities on Legal, Risk and Data topics to align our strategy with Group policies and frameworks;

  • intensively with our Data scientists and Business analysts to design and implementing concrete solutions managing the risks of High-risk systems;

  • transversally with our Business owners to ensure the end-to-end risk management of our AI services.

• You run or participate to some of the risk management processes ensuring the sustainability of our AI solutions.
  
  

Education: Computer Science or assimilated

Certification: Any certification justifying a knowledge in Artificial Intelligence development, regulations, or risk management, etc.

At least 6 years of experience

Technical experience Mandatory:

• You have a technical experience in Artificial Intelligence preferably as a data scientist.

• You are risk-oriented and are able to detect and manage the risks of Artificial intelligence from different perspectives: ethical, operational, IT, security and technical (bias, hallucinations, explainability, ).

• You have a good understanding the legal regulatory framework surrounding AI development and deployment (including European AI Act, GDPR, etc.).
  
  

Business Experience Mandatory:

• You understand the financial sector business and have a good understanding of the banks challenges, products and processes.

• You can demonstrate a strong interest or passion for data & analytics, risk management related topics.
  
  

Languages:

• You demonstrate strong technical skills in the context of Artificial intelligence

• You are analytical and a creative problem solver, you iterate and adapt quickly but develop sustainable deliverables and solutions

• You are at ease to interact with people across the organisation and are able engage them into our framework.

• You are put customer first and have very good communication skills

• You thrive in a team environment, happily sharing your knowledge and insights

• You are fluent in English and proficient in French and / or Dutch
