DevOps Coach (H/F)

Located in Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Grenoble, and Brussels, Insitoo Freelances is an entity of Insitoo Group, specialized in Freelances sourcing and supplying.Since 2007, Insitoo Freelances has been a reference in IT thanks to its expertise, transparency, and proximity . We are looking for a DevOps coach for our client in Brussels.

The objectif is to foster a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams to improve the speed, quality, and reliability of software delivery and infrastructure changes and help to transform the current community to true DevOps
– Describe Ops and Dev activities & workflows & processes encompassing the full lifecycle of an application, product or system
o Lifecycle should start at architectural design time supporting infra-assessments, cloud costs, etc
o Provisioning all environments and onboarding in release automation
o Provisioning & configuring middle layer components and services
o Follow it from its first deployment into production
o Until its decommissioning (EOL)
o It should cover the typical happy flow: design, testing, support of POC’s, automation, shift left of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
o It should include observability metrics during design, development (performance, load, security, … metrics), and production (MTBF (mean time before failure), MTTR (mean time to recovery, repair, respond, or resolve), MTTF (mean time to failure), and MTTA (mean time to acknowledge))
o And work with feedback loops to create continuous improvement
– Describe the overlapping moments where ops are needed by other roles (architect, engineer, GO) and vice versa, hence real DevOps moments
– Describe the best practices of DevOps and indicate gaps and how to mitigate them
– Define the value proposition for DevOps | e.g. faster production and pre-production problem resolution
– Validate proposal
– Define & execute a roadmap/plan to introduce those validated practices
– Align practices between DevOps (e.g. configuration of middleware, deployment params, …)
– Define training plan for DevOps
– Animation of DevOps Community
