The successful candidate is able to demonstrate the skills and competencies of an experienced Data Engineer familiar with private banking business processes and DWH & Reporting Solution. The Data technical expert will deeply understand non-functional requirements, architecture and technical constraints related to Data Warehousing capabilities and gather relevant feedback from users to continue improving systems.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Support actively in the delivery of new BI and Analytics Platform while supporting existing technologies
• Understand business / system requirements and translate them into engineering solutions that are scalable, stable, and fit for purpose
• Propose technical improvements
• Identify technical obstacles early and work collaboratively with teams to define appropriate technology solutions
• Coordinate, execute and support system and integration testing
• Document solutions delivered and share knowledge with other teams
• Work in an agile project environment
• Collaborate with other Scrum, product, and technology teams to get the best possible outcome for the bank and its customers
• Participation in the resolution of production incidents starting with issue analysis, specification, solution implementation
• Support, improve and streamline our integration and deployment capabilities
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

Experience/Knowledge/Skills

• Strong experience in Data Warehousing and Reporting
• Knowledge of financial sector and its products data model (mainly Temenos T24, Triple A is an asset)
• Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and accountability
• Higher academic education in computer science or other related disciplines
• Good problem solving and analytical skills and experience of troubleshooting
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Team player who enjoys working with people on all levels and can also work independently when needed
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English, any other language especially French and/or German will be considered as an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Previous experience working within an Agile framework, preferably Scrum, is desirable
  
  

Technical skills:

• Development and delivery with SQL, SQL Server concepts, joins, index, triggers etc.
• Understanding of the Data Warehousing concepts (SCD, ODS, SDS)
• Ability to synthesize and aggregate data in DataMart
• Usage of reporting and visualization tools (SSRS, Insight, Tableau)
• Experience with ETL tools such as for example Dataiku
• Knowledge of scripting language like Python, PowerShell, Unix scripting or other languages
