Our client, a renowned global bank, boasts a solid reputation and significant presence in the Belgian market through its well-established Corporate and Investment Banking division. Building on this robust foundation, the bank is now launching an exclusive Private Banking offering designed for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWI). As this is a new initiative which is focusing on entrepreneurs and business leaders of large enterprises in Belgium our client is open to Bankers with Corporate Banking background who are willing to reorient themselves and develop their career in the Wealth activity.

Senior Banker

As a Senior Banker, you will be instrumental in the success of this new Private Banking division in Belgium. Leveraging the bank’s extensive Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) network and capabilities, you will offer bespoke wealth management services to a discerning clientele and deliver sophisticated wealth management solutions to leading entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

• Develop and expand a portfolio of UHNWI clients, focusing on business leaders and entrepreneurs from large enterprises.
• Build long-term, trust-based relationships by offering tailored solutions aligned with clients’ financial goals and business interests.

Bespoke Wealth Management Solutions:

• Provide sophisticated financial planning, investment advice, and wealth structuring solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including CIB specialists, to deliver integrated services addressing both corporate and personal financial needs.

Market Expertise:

• Stay informed about economic trends, financial markets, and regulatory developments affecting wealth management in Belgium.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the specific challenges and opportunities faced by UHNW clients, particularly those linked to large enterprises.

Regulatory and Compliance Adherence:

• Ensure all activities comply with local and international regulatory standards, as well as the bank’s internal policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in CIB Coverage or Private Banking in Belgium and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Ability to leverage and integrate CIB capabilities to deliver holistic financial solutions.
• Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is essential.
• Strong understanding of the Belgian financial landscape, as well as global economic and investment trends.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
