To support their expanding operations and digital transformation initiatives, they are looking for a hands-on IT Team Leader to guide infrastructure projects and lead a skilled internal IT team.

The Role
As IT Team Leader, you will take ownership of the company's IT infrastructure strategy and execution. You'll oversee the technical team and external partners, ensuring continuity, reliability, and future-proofing of all infrastructure elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and modernize the IT infrastructure, planning hardware refreshes and software updates.

• Coordinate regular maintenance activities, including security patch management.

• Act as the project leader for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

• Supervise project planning and progress tracking.

• Lead the internal IT team and manage external vendors/partners involved in project execution.

• Identify risks and opportunities related to security, reliability, and performance of IT systems.

• Translate evolving business needs into a dynamic IT roadmap.

• Manage IT budgets and plan future investments.

• Stay up to date with innovations in infrastructure, telecommunications, and IT security.

Your Profile
We are looking for a technically strong and experienced professional with a proactive mindset and leadership skills.

Required:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7-10 years' experience as a System Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role.

• Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Scrum/Agile).

• Expertise in networking, virtual servers, NAS, backup systems, VOIP, firewalls, and switches.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: SQL Server, Domain Controllers, SharePoint, Active Directory, SCCM, Microsoft 365, and Azure.

• Practical experience designing and deploying infrastructure solutions aligned with business strategies.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Fluency in both Dutch and English is required to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and international teams.
