What You'll Do
The Social media specialist should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content & performance campaigns to drive traffic, sales and engagement. ROAS, DABA, DPA, CTR, CPM,...are terms that have no secrets for you.
- Develop Winning Social Media Strategies: Lead competitive research, platform selection, audience targeting, and messaging to engage and delight our followers.
- Create Paid Social Campaigns: Plan, budget, and execute high-performing content campaigns that drive traffic, sales, and engagement across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Track, Analyze & Optimize Performance: Monitor key KPIs, ensuring we hit ROI targets and continually improve engagement and reach.
- Collaborate on Creative Content: Pitch innovative ideas and trends to our digital content team, keeping our content fresh and engaging.
- Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers to create buzzworthy content and grow our community reach.
- Fan & Follower Growth: Build a vibrant social media community by increasing fans and followers authentically.
- Social Community Management: Proactively monitor social channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to build meaningful connections.
- Trend-Spotting: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and emerging technologies to keep Samsonite ahead of the curve.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Brand and Country marketing teams to align messaging and amplify campaigns.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent social media experience
- 1 years of experience in digital marketing or social media management
- In-depth knowledge of Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more
- Hands-on experience with ads managers (Meta, TikTok, Linkedin,...Smartly knowledge is a plus)
- Strong understanding of social media performance metrics (ROAS, DABA, CPM, CTR, etc.)
- Excellent content writing skills
- Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset
- Fluency in English (Dutch or French is a plus)
- Strong organizational and deadline management skills
- Embrace new, digital media technologies and capabilities
- Experience with analytics tools is a plus
- Teamplayer
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in media buying
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.)
- Passion for exploring new digital trends and technologies
- Experience with analytics tools
