IT Support

Serco is a partner of choice to the European Institutions and other International Organisations. For the past 30 years, we have been providing European and International Organisations a wide range of services including ICT services in support, infrastructure, operations and development as well as managing different contact centres for the key European Institutions, agencies and organisations across Europe.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Support to join our team in Brussels, Belgium Office.

Technical/professional qualification

• Written and spoken English (minimum B2)

Experience/skills required

Mandatory:

• At least 3 years experience in delivery training and providing support to external customers.
• At least 2 years experience in statistical data analysis
• At least 3 years experience in the domain of Linux OS installation, use and administration and in the domain of (MariaDB/MySQL) database principles, querying, creating views/tables;

Desirable:

• Experience in developing and providing specialised software training course in English to end-users;
• Experience in providing support to external customers,
• Experience in analysis of different types of data using mathematical statistics, which involves the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data;
• Experience in system validation including writing documentations like technical reports, user guides;
• Nice to have experience in ATC surveillance system (Surveillance principle, Asterix data format,…).

Other requirements (personal characteristics)

Mandatory:

• Customer and quality focus – responding effectively to customer enquiries with consistent quality in work;
• Analytical thinking and problem solving: analysis of information and identification of relationships, anticipation and solving of business issues;
• Ready to travel across the world several times per year for approximately 3 weeks/2 times a year;
• Ready to be based in Brussels and work on-site at EUROCONTROL premises;
• Desiring and able to work in a multi-cultural team, good team worker, positive, open minded, committed to get the job done.
