Project Manager

We are hiring a Project Manager for European Commission in Brussels and various locations around Europe.

• At least 10 years in project management
• At least 3 years of specific expertise in mobile applications projects
• At least 3 years in interoperability of IT systems
• At least 3 years in definition of functional requirements for IT systems
• At least 3 years interacting and reporting to IT and non-IT stakeholders.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Bachelor's or Master's degree

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Definition of functional analysis, use cases, and mock-ups.
• Preparation of technical background documents and presentations for the Technical Working Group sessions, with Member States.
• Preparation and follow up of exchanges with Member States and stakeholders, such as surveys, enquiries and specific requests.
• Management of project schedule.
• Development and maintenance of project schedule.
• Coordination and review of activities performed by the team, and prioritisation of tasks.
• Reporting of progress, issues and risks.
• Assistance with internal reporting to MARE Management and Member States.
• Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
• Interaction with the external contractors.

CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS:

• Certified in PM2 or equivalent certification
